Our origin
Founded in 2020 to fix PSC friction
Speedy Sticks was founded in 2020 by Daniel Buitrago after he saw a gap most of healthcare had normalized: patients who needed lab work were forced to travel to crowded patient service centers, wait without a clear timeline, then still coordinate results afterward. For elderly patients, people managing chronic conditions, and anyone with a demanding schedule, that process blocked care.
The premise was simple — a certified phlebotomist should come to you, follow the same venipuncture protocols as a walk-in lab, and route the specimen to the same processing facility without adding friction to the clinical workflow. What started as a local service expanded as demand showed the problem was national.
Today Speedy Sticks operates nationwide through a certified national network, with managed ops for organizations, a partner API for platforms, and direct booking for individual patients — 100,000+ blood draws completed on the same founding idea: getting your blood drawn should not require rearranging your day.
