Your visit is for collection, not diagnosis. Speedy Sticks does not operate a laboratory, perform testing, or interpret results. We follow the order or kit instructions and leave testing and clinical decisions to the laboratory and your healthcare provider.
What you need before we arrive

Make the visit easier
Choose a reasonably quiet, well-lit place where you can sit comfortably and keep your arm supported. Clear a small surface for supplies and make sure your phlebotomist can reach the patient safely. If the patient is a child, older adult, or needs assistance, having a caregiver nearby can help with identification, communication, and comfort. Please tell the team about mobility or access needs when you book rather than waiting until arrival.
Preparation requirements come from the ordering provider or laboratory. Some orders require fasting, a particular collection time, or special handling, while others do not. Do not skip prescribed medication or change your routine unless your provider specifically tells you to. If an order is incomplete, expired, missing required information, or does not match a kit, contact the ordering provider or laboratory before the appointment so the collection can follow the correct instructions.
Who uses home blood draw services?

People with needle anxiety or difficult veins may also prefer a familiar, private setting. If you use a direct-to-consumer or provider-supplied kit, we can collect according to its instructions.
During collection
Your phlebotomist confirms the patient and collection instructions, prepares the supplies, and performs the requested blood draw. Tell them if you have felt faint during a previous draw or if there is an arm you prefer. They can review collection instructions, but they cannot replace your provider's medical guidance.
After the draw
The tubes or kit components are labeled and prepared according to the order or kit requirements. Keep the dressing in place for the time your phlebotomist recommends and follow any aftercare instructions they provide. If you feel unwell after a draw, seek appropriate medical advice; Speedy Sticks does not diagnose or treat illness.
Where results come from
Speedy Sticks is the collection service, not the testing laboratory. The destination lab receives and analyzes the specimen, and your ordering provider or that laboratory communicates results through its normal process. We cannot estimate result timing or explain what a result means.
