- Draw into a pearl-top K2 EDTA tube (purple is also okay). [L1]

Right after collection
Processing
- Plasma option: invert, spin, move 1 mL (minimum 0.5 mL) of plasma to a transport tube, then refrigerate. It's stable 7 days refrigerated or 14 days frozen. [L1]
- Whole blood option: invert, put it right into an activated refrigerated shipper, and ship the same day. It must arrive within 48 hours. Do not freeze whole blood. [L1]
