About this kit
Exact Sciences offers Oncoguard Liver. [O1]
A blood test that aids detection of hepatocellular carcinoma in adults with cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B. It uses SST serum for AFP and LBgard plasma for methylated DNA markers. Patients who are or may be pregnant should not be tested. [O1]

- Draw the 7.5 mL SST first, then the three 8.5 mL LBgard tubes. [O1]
- Fill the LBgard tubes completely. The SST may be partly filled if volume is a concern. [O1]
- Label with name, date of birth, and date and time of collection. [O1]

Right after collection
Processing
