Before the visit
Prep
- Fasting rules are not published. Follow the instructions in your kit.

The draw
Draw
- Draw 20 mL into the two 10 mL Streck tubes, and fill each completely. [G1]
- Draw after EDTA tubes and before fluoride oxalate tubes. Use a discard tube after a heparin tube or when using butterfly tubing. [G1]

Right after collection
Processing
- Gently invert 8 to 10 times. [G1]
- Store at room temperature, 18 to 25 C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. [G1]

Get it to the lab
Shipping
