Cardio Zoomer uses SST serum, lithium heparin plasma and lavender EDTA. Cardio Genetics and Omega Fatty Acids use lavender EDTA. [V1]

Before the visit
Prep
- Fasting is not required for the heparin and EDTA tubes. Vibrant recommends 10 to 12 hours only for Vibrant America tests. [V1]

The draw
Draw
- Draw in Vibrant's order: SST, then lithium heparin, then lavender. [V1]
- 3
Right after collection
Processing
- SST: invert 8 to 10 times, clot 30 minutes, spin 10 min at 3400 or 15 min at 3300 RPM within 2 hours. [V1]
- Heparin: invert 8 to 10 times, spin 15 min at 3300 RPM within 2 hours, pour the plasma into the transfer tube, and label it plasma. [V1]
- Lavender: invert 8 to 10 times. Do not spin. Wrap in 3 layers of bubble bag. [V1]

Get it to the lab

- Put all processed tubes in one biohazard bag, with the Complete Order Summary in the back pocket. [V1]
- Frozen ice packs go under and over the bag in the cooler. Freeze them at least 24 hours ahead. [V1]
