Everlywell offers both self-collection and professional draw options depending on the specific test. Most Everlywell kits use fingerstick blood collection cards that the patient completes at home without a phlebotomist. These work well for tests requiring only a few drops of blood. However, certain panels requiring venous blood volume or specific tube additives include a professional phlebotomist step. Before scheduling a mobile draw for any Everlywell kit, read the entire kit insert and confirm that it specifically requires a licensed phlebotomist to perform the venipuncture. If the kit instructions describe fingerstick self-collection only, a separate phlebotomy visit is not needed and would not be appropriate for that particular kit.
Speedy Sticks is independent and not affiliated with Everlywell, Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, or any specific consumer or clinical lab brand. We perform the professional phlebotomy step that your kit's manufacturer requires when that step is specified in the written collection instructions. Our role is technically identical regardless of which brand's kit you hold: correct venipuncture, correct tube selection per the kit insert, correct labeling, and handoff per the kit's specimen return instructions. We do not interpret results, advise on test selection, or make recommendations about lab brands. For questions about your specific Everlywell test, Everlywell's customer support is the correct resource.
Before your scheduled visit, locate and read your kit's complete collection instructions, not just the app's summary. Confirm what tube types are provided in the kit, whether you need to prepare the return shipping packaging in advance, and any pre-draw requirements such as fasting, medication hold, or supplement restriction. Have the kit opened and organized before the phlebotomist arrives so the visit can proceed efficiently. If your kit includes pre-labeled tubes, verify that your name and any identifiers are correctly printed before the visit. If there are labeling errors, correct them before collection. Tubes cannot be relabeled after a draw without compromising specimen integrity and chain of custody.
After collection, your specimen is packaged and shipped per the kit's return instructions, typically using a prepaid return label included in the kit. Speedy Sticks is responsible for the phlebotomy visit including professional collection, correct tube type, and preparation per your kit's instructions. We are not responsible for the postal or courier handoff, specimen processing by the receiving lab, or result reporting by Everlywell or any third-party lab. Processing times, result delivery, and clinical follow-up are entirely within the brand's system. Contact Everlywell's customer support for any questions about specimen status, result interpretation, or re-collection requests after the visit has occurred.

An Everlywell blood draw refers to the professional venipuncture collection step required by some Everlywell or similar consumer lab kits. While many at-home kits use fingerstick self-collection, others require a certified phlebotomist for a full venous draw. Speedy Sticks provides mobile phlebotomy for kit-based workflows, following the collection instructions provided with your kit. Note: Speedy Sticks is an independent mobile phlebotomy provider, not affiliated with Everlywell.
